Dr. Joanna E, Decowska has been a practicing physical therapist for over 20 years. Joanna is passionate about helping all her patients pediatric and adults to enjoy more active and productive lifestyles.  Over the years, Joanna gained her experience from various working environments to earn a widespread reputation for excellence, integrity, knowledge, and her ability to focus on the well-being and needs of her patients. Dr Joanna Decowska graduated from Long Island university in 2002 in Bachelor of Science and master in physical therapy. In 2008 she achieved her doctorate in physical therapy degree from long island university.  She started her working career in Robert Wood Johnson university hospital where she gained her experience working with adults and children in in  -patient and out -patient departments. Later she continue her career working in outpatients clinics serving patients with various musculoskeletal , neurological and post surgical impairments p to recover and gained their independence. She also continues working with pediatric population as well. She is currently working for Carteret and New Brunswick school district to provide school based physical therapy to children with various limitation due to Autism Spectrum disorder, genetic disorders and children who are just not reaching developmental milestones and cant keep up with their peers during regular recreational and school related activities,    Dr joanna Decowska continues to keep updated with the most current research through taking continue education courses. She is certified in Kinesio taping, IASTM, cupping, manual mobilization therapy and more.    When she is not treating patients, Joanna enjoys spending time at parks, on the beach, or just relaxing around the house.  Joanna enjoys working out, going for bike rides and relaxing with family and friends. She has traveled to many parts of the country while practicing as a therapist and while volunteering her therapy services.
